Question about Toshiba Satellite A215-S4767 Notebook
I was on the internet and after i was done i closed out of everthing. Instead of powering down i just shut it closed. When i tried to turn it back on it went to a screen saying something about a startup repair and that the windows would not start correctly. What should i do?
First off, Windows just didn't like the way the computer shut off, I would just restart normally and see what happens. Next when it boots up and you get into windows, Go to the control panel > Power Options > go to the hibernation tab and make sure hibernation is unchecked. Next go the setting that reads "shutting the lid". You want to open this setting with a drop down list and pick "Do Nothing", this will keep the laptop from entering standby mode just for shutting the lid. Laptops do not like hibernation or standby modes....windows hates it and will give you all kinds of problems if you continue to use it.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
