First check if you successfully listed your item, you can check that if you already have the item in your active folder in your my ebay account under Sell. if not, you can try to list the item again.

you can also use the item number to search for your item, enter the item number in the search box. if your item will appear then your item is already and the auction already started. check the words in your title, make sure that you put in the same words that you have in the title of your item, if not your item will not appear. it really depends on what your item's title is, if you listed a car and the title is honda civic 2000 and you are searching for honda cars your item will not appear since the title of your item doesn't have the word car in it. make sure to put in the correct wordings when you are listing an item.

I want to take my stuff off of ebay I have listed cuz they r sold

To end a listing early and cancel all bids or sell to the high bidder:
  1. Go to My eBay > Selling and find the item.
  2. From the More actions drop-down menu, select End My Listing Early.
  3. If there are bids on your item, choose how you want to end your listing.
    • If there are 12 or more hours before the end of the listing, select Cancel bids and end listing early or Sell item to high bidder.
    • If there are fewer than 12 hours before the end of the listing, your only option is Sell item to high bidder. Note: If your item has no bids, you can skip this step
  4. Select the reason you're ending your listing early and click End My Listing.

How to put free listings on eBay

Hi there dear eBay members! I am serverbot an eBay guru and I will share to you my tips and tricks on how to put your items for free on eBay!! Yes, that is correct, for FREE!
First, lets check the newest promotion that eBay has, it is the free insertion fee for auction style listings until January 2011!! Any price, just make sure that you have 4.5 on all of your DSRs and you are qualified for the 100 free listings regardless of starting price. But what if you already used 100 of the free 100 listings? You can use it again on the next month, meaning it refresh every month.

If you already used 100 of it and likes to list more, then you will be charged for the next listing. How to avoid getting charge again and again? Use the Free relist policy, list the item once and if it didn't sell, relist it and DON'T relist it the second time since it will no longer be covered by Free relist. It will only works if your item sells the first time you relist it and you will only get the first insertion fee.
Free relist policy

But what if you made a mistake in your listing and you can no longer edit it or you like it to be Fixed price but you listed it as Auction? How to get credit for it? You need to end the listing within 12 hours since you listed the item and contact eBay for credit. Yes, you can contact eBay and they will credit it for you as long as it's not yet past 12 hours.
eBay phone trick How to end a listing early link
Just ready your item number. If it's your first time to file a cancel transaction case and the buyer declined it accidentally, you can also ask eBay to credit it for you since you can no longer file another case! It can be a one time courtesy credit or an education credit.
How about Overdraft fees?eBay don't charge it, it's your bank. You need to contact your bank so that they can credit it for you but to avoid it, check your funding source in your PayPal account or check your eBay automatic payment method on file.
Lastly, the most devilish trick to get free credits, you just need to contact eBay and ask for credit. It can be a one time courtesy or education credit if you haven't requested one. Dead serious, you can get free listings for doing this. It's mean but it's a trick.
Hope this helps. If you need further tricks on eBay check my other tips and you can ask me for whatever about eBay.

Trying to pay for item comes up you hit speed bump and wont process through paypal all day

Hi there!
The error you are getting is not related to your computer or bank account. It is an internal error on eBay/PayPal checkout process. Here's what you can do, you need to contact eBay so that they can report your account to their technical team and you can try to pay the item again after 24 hours. You may also ask the seller to send you a manual paypal invoice.
Here's the eBay chat link, although the wait time is too long.

I hope this helps! Have a great day!

I listed a blue vase, I have two low bids right now, my listing was under auction. Now I have buyers who want me to sell them the item under Buy Now, which I did not place a buy now price when I listed. I...

Hi there!

It seems that it's been a month since you sent the email here on Fixya but I will help you on how you can do this on your future listings.
If your item has already bids you can no longer edit or revise but you can end the listing if there are still more than 12 hours left before it ends. you just need to cancel the bids first and end it. then you can relist the item as a fixed price listing depending on the price that the buyers like to pay for it.
the reserve price only works for auction and you need to put it before you list the item.

Here's how you can end your listing early:

1. Go to: http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/end_early.html
2. Click the "End My Listing Early form" link. You may need to sign in.
3. Enter your Item number, and click the "Continue" button.
4. If there were no bids on your item, go to Step 6.

5. If there are bids on your item, choose either "Cancel bids and end listing early" or "Sell item to high bidder(s) and end listing early."
6. Select the reason that you're ending your listing early.
7. Click the "submit" button to end your listing.

Your listing will end and bidders will receive an email explaining that their bid has been canceled.

Hope this helps you on your future listings. Have a great day!

I put my car on ebay to sell i was sent a conformation number i thought i followed the correct steps i put it on several hours ago and still hasnt been displayed

you can check your account if you did successfully listed your item, here's how:

1. please log in to your account and then please click the my ebay tab located on the upper right hand corner of the page.
2. then click Active under Sell, if you successfully listed your item, you should find it here and there is a 6-12 hours indexing delay for the items to appear on site.
3. if you will not see your item here, it means that your item is not yet listed and probably the confirmation number that you got is a seller account 4 digit confirmation number.

here's how you can list your item:

1. since you are logged in to your account, just lick Sell on the upper right hand corner of the page.
2. then click the big blue start selling button in the middle of the page.
3. once you click that you will be redirected to the select a category page, your listing should be saved as draft and it is located on the right side of the same page.
4. click the complete button on the right side and you will be able to see the sell your item form that you used. just continue and you will be able to list your item.

hope this helps.... please dont forget to rate... thanks!!!

My first sale attempt

that is not normal if you listed your item properly.. you need to check if the item is in your active selling folder. here's how

1. log in to your ebay account then click the my ebay tab located on the upper right hand corner of he page
2. then on the left side click active under Sell, if your item is listed then you will be able to see it here. if not, it means that your item is not listed.
3. if the item is not listed, you can still retrieve it (if its saved as draft) so that you can finish listing your item.

here;s how

1. log in to your account then click the Sell tab located on the upper right hand corner of the page.
2. then click the big blue start selling button in the middle of the page
3. then you will see the select a category page and on the right side you will see the finish your draft listing portion, just click the complete button below and you will be redirected to the sell your item form. complete it and list it.

you will receive a congratulations page if you list your item successfully, to check if your item is listed, do the first set of steps i provided above.

if you don't have an automatic payment method on file, you will not be able to list and item, make sure that you have one...

hope this helps... please dont forget to rate! thanks!!

Hi,
You can file a dispute with ebay.

Try contacting them.
By this, the seller has to answer your question and solve the dispute else he/ she will be in trouble with ebay.
