Question about Samsung SIR-S4040R DirecTV DTV Receiver / 35-Hours Video Recorder
Very odd problem. If the unit has a problem with software, it won't work at all. I've never seen a unit delete ALL the shows, unless someone initiated a clear and delete everything from the reset menu.
Was the unit in guided setup? or was everything (channel guides, settings) the same and your recordings were just gone?
