Problem for Bosch Dishwashers

Generic problem for all Bosch Dishwashers

Bosch dishwasher model: SGS56E02 will not...

SGS56E02 will not complete a cycle but goes on forever. Usually when the display show a minute to go it just keeps on washing ad infinitum. We tried the reset buttons and turning the power off for hours but the problem continues. Only the pre-rinse cycle work normally.

The machine is over five years old and I wonder if it is worth the repair and call-out charge.

Hi, The dishwasher must get to 70c to advance thru the heating cycle.. check to see if the heater is coming on( lots of steam coming out when you open the door )..not getting hot then you could have a heater problem. if you are getting hot then you have a Thermo ... the thermo holds the the dishwasher until the temp reaches 70c before it will let it go into the next cycle...the thermo is under the dishwasher at the right side, white with two wires .. it screws into the tub...hope it helps it not let me know and I can help you more...
