Question about Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook T4210 Notebook

1 Answer

My T4210 tends to get very hot, about 50 degrees Celsius, but I know the fan can work harder and reduce the heat, because it does so from time to time. My question is: Can you manually make the fan work harder, effectively cooling the computer at all time?

Download a program called SpeedFan, which will allow you to adjust fan speed (it's free, too!)

1994 Toyota Corolla... Overheating! HELP! Replaced: radiator, water pump, relay, temperature sensor & thermostat! Fans are working! Even ran it w/out thermostat in, NP. What am I missing?

You have not mentioned 2 important things. 1, have you checked for leaking head gasket'? It can blow in any of 3 ways. a) between cylinders, which will result in a misfire, sometimes slight. b) between compression chamber and water jacket, which will cause a gassy smell in the cooling system. Open the radiator cap and start the engine, check for water bubbles when the engine reaches operating temp, and smell the water. 3) between water jacket and oil channels - there will be water in the oil. Check the dipstick for emulsified oil in the sump (a greyish colour).
And then 2 - engine timing. If the timing is fast, the engine will tend to run hot, especially when under load as in uphills etc.You will also hear pinging (spontaneous combustion). If the timing is slow, it will also tend to run hot when under load under certain circumstances.
Let us know more.

My aeg lavamat 41070 washing machine doesn`t work at high temperature ( more then 50 degrees) . At low temps it is working OK/

In the case of insufficient heating appears error code E60 what means replace the NTC sensor. Exclude heater, PCB or relay malfunction because you indicate that the machine is heated to 50 degrees Celsius.

Electrolux ewx14440w washer dryer will not heat water

Hello - Hot water is most often 10 degrees colder when it arrives at your machine from when it leaves your hot water heater. In general hot water is 130 degrees Fahrenheit (54.4 Celsius) or above. Warm water is between 110 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit ( 43.3-32.2 Celsius). Cold water is generally between 80 and 60 degrees Fahrenheit (26.7-15 Celsius). If cold water is below 60 degrees Fahrenheit (15 Celsius), clothes are unlikely to be cleaned very well. After confirming information and it proves to be ineffective contact a professional to move forward accurately. Unit could possibly be experiencing a defective timer, temperature sensor, or water valve.

Hi Expert, My Dell N5010 6monhs old laptop is getting really hot on the touchpad i mean really hot near 60 degrees (Using Speedfan) I am using targus chillmat and the overall temp is cut...

Did your ever notice is the blower the CPU is working. If not work so that's the cause of the heat. If the fan work use external fan that to use under the unit, you can buy it and your computer shop. If your using for longer hours heat will produce on the upper portion of the laptop mean i transfer. It is normal as long as the laptop OS doesn't hang. If its hang that's the big problem. Advice: use external blower to cold down the unit

AS1830T-68U118, motherboard is very hot, 102 degrees celsius. sometimes, 50 ~ 90 degrees. What I do ?

Hi,

Use a canned air to blow out the dust that might be accumulated on the system fan as it is one cause of overheating. Make sure that the fan it working properly as it should. Also avoid using your laptop in areas where the temperature is high.

Replace the fan if it is failing before it gets worse.

Hope this helps.

Sometimes there isn't enough hot water for a shower when the hot water mode is set.I have set the hot water temperature to 65 degrees

Are you waiting long enough for the water to be totally heated, before showering? Unfortunately, all the water doesn't reach 60 degrees celsius (140 degrees fahrenheit) in a matter of minutes. Try switching to the hot water mode sooner and allow enough time for the system to heat up entirely. If that doesn't solve the problem, the burner may need cleaning,

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

Heat- Is parking a car in high sun temperatures

heat is not fun during any time, is it harmful, yes and no. it can cause your Ac to work harder to cool the vehicle down in addition to eventually fading your interior. a suggestion to the heat would be to have light or white paint for the exterior (probably to late for you on this) and some type of window tint to reduce the heat on the interior. my vehicle hits about 110-120 degrees interior temp during the summer month's. 4 hours a day is not to bad for the sun exposure. I hope this helps!

Temperature problem

Make sure you have 50/50 mix antifreeze, it will still run hot if you have 100% antifreeze. As the antifreeze get's hot, it turns in to gel and the flow slows down and the heat exchange will be reduced. Water is great in transferring heat but it will boil over so antifreeze is added to keep it from boiling over, so a 50/50 (water/antifreeze) mix is used. You can go a bit higher with the antifreeze but try not too and in the winter you can go 40/60 (water/antifreeze) if your in really cold climate area. The other thing to is do you have electric radiator fans?? Think you do, make sure it's working. When you turn on your A/C the radiator fan should come one and also when the temperature  gauge hits 180 - 195 degrees the fan should come on too. If not check the fuse, relay's and wire harness to the fan. Good luck and hope this helps.
