The primer ball can be bought at any local mower shop. Just ask for a primer bulb. Remove the screws (usually 2) next to the bulb and remove the plate around the bulb and it should pop right out.

How do I replace dome light on Matrix 2009

Remove the key from the ignition. Make sure the doors are closed, so the new bulb does not illuminate when you are installing it.
Make sure the dome lighting switch is turned to the "Off" position. Pry the plastic lens away from the dome light. Use a small, flat-head screwdriver.
Push back the side bulb clamp. Pull out the old dome lightbulb. Wipe the area with a paper towel if it is dirty.
Wrap the new bulb in a paper towel. Insert it into the dome lightbulb holder. Push it up gently to secure it.
Turn the switch to "On" to test the bulb. Reposition the cover and push up to lock the clips into place.

Printer brand brother model DCP-J125. does not working properly, Close ink cover has appear the LCD monitor

The sensor for this is actually used for both the scanner cover and the ink cover,
there are two flags that both must sit into the sensor to reach a ready state.

If you examine the ink cover there's a small piece of plastic that paths into a hole on the machines frame. This piece of plastic pushes a small black plastic flag that tells the sensor the door is closed.

If it's constantly telling you to close the ink cover inspect both the cover itself to verify that piece of plastic isn't broken and is going into the hole; and look inside and verify the flag isn't broken or damaged (flashlight and a small eyeglass screwdriver help here)

Either can be fixed for cheap at any reputable printer repair shop, I would look for a brother warranty place even if it's out of warranty as they'll be more likely to have donor machines sitting around for spare parts.

Drawer won't open

There is a mechanical way of opening it. Straighten out a paper clip, find a very small hole on the face plate of the drawer slide. Insert the straighten paper clip end into the hole and push gently. this will push the unlatch triger and release the tray.

How to replace interior dome light bulb?

1) Remove the key from the ignition. Make sure the doors are closed, so the new bulb does not illuminate when you are installing it.

2) Make sure the dome light switch is turned to the "Off" position. Pry the plastic lens away from the dome light. Use a small, flat-head screwdriver.

3) Push back the side bulb clamp. Pull out the old dome lightbulb. Wipe the area with a paper towel if it is dirty.

4) Wrap the new bulb in a paper towel (oil from your skin will shorten its life). Insert it into the dome lightbulb holder. Push it up gently to secure it.

5) Turn the switch to "On" to test the bulb. Reposition the cover and push up to lock the clips into place.

If the bulb doesn't work, you've got a bad switch somewhere, probably on the drivers door.

Hi there, my bugaboo handle will not lock. I bought my bugaboo in UK but I live in Netherlands. Where can it be fixed?

Bugaboo don't have any official repair service nor sell any spare parts. Only the complete frame at around one third of the cost of a new Bugaboo! There are independent repairs in the UK one of them drops their website address in most Bugaboo requests on this site. Here is the real DIY solution

How to fix a Bugaboo Handle

If you are not a handyperson type, take these instructions to you local Bicycle Mechanic or Small engineering shop.

The bugaboo handle fault is caused by two small plastic pins shearing of a plastic disk that actuates two metal locking rods, occasionaly one of the locking rods can be damaged too. Why bugaboo uses a plastic disk for this critical component is beyond me!

1/. Remove the domed star lock washer. This is the hardest part of the job. Most people try to leaver this off in the hope of re using. First problem with this is you will mark or damage the surrounding plastic second is star locks are not intended for reuse and will never hold as well as when first used, so best find a new replacement. A hardware store should be able to source some for you. Quickest way to remove a dome washer is to carefully cut a slot in the dome with an angle grinder and then use a large screwdriver to carefully prize one side up so you can fit a screwdriver. Note the walls of the aluminum hub axel are thin and easily distorted, make sure you only lever the Domed Star Lock and not hub axel. Use one screwdriver as a support and another to lift off the Domed Star lock.

Note it is best to open and repair one side at a time, so your moving and flexing one side of the handle does not dislodge parts in the other side. The hub and disks are mirrors of each other and not interchangeable. The side with the brake lever is left The Bugaboo parts will have an "L" after their serial numbers.

2/. The lock mechanism is very simple; a wire rod rotates a plastic disk. Check the hubs for ware. If too badly worn or damaged you will have too much movement in the locked position. The Frog and Chameleon use the same plastic hub find another frame to salvage hubs from. They are held in by a single aluminum rivet.

The disk has two plastic pins that move the locking rods in and out of the inner hub into and out of the outer hub. You need to either repair the disk by drilling out the pin stumps and finding a replacement metal screw you can fit / glue in. Or (my preferred choice) have a new metal disk fabricated that will last a lifetime.

3/. Reassemble handle locking hub and check operation. If wire rods seem to be in the incorrect position, loosen the top plastic fittings where the handle extends from by removing the small self-tapping screws and wiggle things into alignment. (I use a small amount of the grease used for taps to give a smooth action) If all is working well fit the new star dome on the hub shaft and tap home. To protect the dome finish I use a large socket from my socket set and an old rubber washer from a toilet cistern. Repeat operation on the other side

I have available a kit with either (left & right) laser cut metal disk with stainless steel pins fitted and new star dome washer. Cost is $80 New Zealand plus shipping. If you want both sets $150 I can supply locking rods please ask, you can contact me macnutz@xnet.co.nz

DVD stuck and wont open

Which product u use? Each product has that option in order to solve such issues. Is it an old one? There are several places where the hole is. One is near the eject button (upper left, right, bottom right). Near the tray (below or above). Bottom left. Near the volume control. If there is a sticker or something it must have behind that. You can get it in a different way also. Remove the bolts using a screw driver. There are 2 plastic blocks (located left and right near to the front plastic panel.). Push in those small pieces in and pull the plastic fron shield slightly. Then use a flat screw driver to remove the two upper locks (where the plastic panel or shield connected to the metal cover - on the upper edge). Slightly push front and then bottom until you see the disk. Then use a soft hook or something to pull the dvd out. Then Push up until the upper locks fit together with the metal shield. Push the plastic cover in until the side locks are fit together with the metal cover.

Wahing machine overflowing

Water does not enter the pressure hose, air does.
Remove the plastic tube from the air dome on the side of the washer. Use a small piece of wire and clean the soap scum out of the air dome hole. Blow through the plastic tube to hear the water level switch click.
Inspect the plastic tube for a hole or pinched.
If these steps do not work replace the water level switch.
