The 10A has not been sold for over 15 years. When the batteries are in good shape it took around a hour to charge. If yours is taking longer than that it could be the batteries are bad. I would also look at the contacts on the battery and the drill. These had a tendency to get bent,

As a general rule it takes about an hour with a standard charger, but I can't find any info on your tool specific to charging. I would recommend calling 1-800-879-8000 and speak with them direct and you might also want to ask that a manual be sent to you.

How do I revive a Hilti 36 volt battery from a TE6 nicdm

There is no way to revive a rechargeable battery once they go bad. Rechargeable batteries have a lifespan that is affected by how many times they have been discharged and recharged and how fully discharged they are between recharges. Most batteries will last longer if they are fully discharged before recharging and allowed to cool completely before recharging, heat being the main culprit to their longgevity. They will eventually reach a point where they will not charge anymore or if they do they will not hold a full charge for any appreciable time. The best test for the batteries ability to take a charge is to completely deplete the battery either through working it or sitting on the couch with the trigger pulled until it stops working completely, let it cool down then put it in the charger. If it charges, use it to see how long it lasts. If it dies quickly it needs to be replaced.

Need a new battery 36v type BP10

I am not sure if Hilti still carries a BP10 for your TE10A. However if they do it would be very expensive and you would still have a tool that is 20+ years old. Battery tools have come a long way since then. The TE2A would be a good replacement and the whole set up would not be much more than buying one BP10 Battery. The newest one the TE4A is a great Lithium ion Hammer drill. It runs around $599 US and comes with a two year warranty that includes the replacement of batteries.
