Question about Whirlpool GEW9250 Electric Dryer

I have a whirlpool duet dryer that seems to flash on any setting but Time Dry and then does not completely dry the first time through on Time Dry.

Ok - that does not answer my question about why ONLY the time dry setting works. The other settings only BEEP and flash ... I checked the lint trap all the way to the outside area and cleaned it out. Y won't my dryer accept another setting?

First thing to check is the 'electronic sensor strips' located in the drum. They are the automatic dry sensors for moisture content. If they are dirty or lint is stuck to them they an not sense the moisture in the clothes to dry correctly. Alos very important that the lint filter is clean. Check the vent tube alos, you have to pull the machine forward and unhook it and pull any lint out that you see.

When you use time dry it is just that you select the time and if its not long enough it will not dry your clothing, select a longer time depending on what/how many clothes you put in. Of you can use the normal dry time which is about 60min. Will dry 90% of loads even jeans.. If that's still not working I would check the lent filter (will cause longer dry time) and make sure you clean the whole below the lint filter too (they sell a tool that looks similar to a toliet brush but slimmer for that). Any lent buuildup will cause poor circulation of the heat and increase drying time.

My duet whirpool electric dryer keeps stoping before my clothes are dry

Make sure you are not using a timed drying setting. Use one of the pre programmed functions on the dial. These settings are meant to use a sensor and stop when the clothes are dry. If the problem continues on one of these settings, there is likely a problem with the sensor or your heating element

Dryer does not dry clothes completely

If your machine is taking that long to dry. You either have a clogged vent to the outside or your gas valve coils are bad. You can check to see if it is your vent by disconnecting it for one cycle. If the unit drys in time then clean your vent. Click Here to see what a clogged vent can do. Click here to see gas valve coils.

I have a whirlpool duet dryer.. I need to know how to put in the rack for the tennis shoes.. HELP

Hi dear. Here is some help from the user manual.I hope that helps.Thanks. DryingRack
To use the drying rack
Do not remove the lint screen.
1. Open dryer door.
2.
Place drying rack inside dryer drum, positioning the back wire
on the ledge of the inner dryer back panel. Push down on
front edge of drying rack to secure over the lint screen.
3.
Put the wet items on top of the rack. Leave space between
the items so air can reach all the surfaces.
NOTE: Do not allow items to hang over the edge of the rack.
4.
Close the door.
5. Select a timed drying cycle and temperature, or an air cycle
(see following chart). Items containing foam, rubber, or plastic
must be dried on a clothesline or by using the Air Only
temperature setting.
6. You must select a time by pressing MORE TIME or LESS
TIME. Reset time as needed to complete drying. Refer to the
following table.
7. Press (and hold) HOLD TO START button (about 1 second).
NOTE: You must remove rack for normal tumbling. Do not use
automatic cycles with the drying rack.
This chart shows examples of items that can be rack dried and
the suggested cycle, temperature setting and drying time. Actual
