That is a tricky sympton for that model . You'd expect it to only be prduced by the lamp temp sensor but the chassis fan stopping while tv is on can also produce that message on that model. I'd reccomend taking it to a repair facility . The chassis fan is the fan you can just see the edge/top of on the left side above the input jacks (looking at the back of the set with the back and the inner metal back removed). Other devices could possibly produce that mesage ,that model has 5 fans inside it! Temp sensors too.

Hello. Most fan problems are dust related, and only need cleaning. A can of air should do the trick.

HP Pavilion dv1000 PC Notebook My PC shuts down automatically

This is a common problem for many laptops. Its shutdown because of over heating.msoufeer5_2.jpg
Each mobile processoe has a max temperature rating. when the temperature reches certain degree
the processor shuts itself down to prevent damaging the chip. The number 1 cause of heat related issue is dust bunnies.

Dust is a pretty good insulator and it will block your laptop's airflow when it build up over time. The easiest way clean it is to use a can of compressed air and it through the air flow event.

If you are handy you can also take out the key board and clean the inside. you can see the cooling
fan on most laptop once you removed the key board. In some case even the out side look clean but
if you take apart the fan assembly you will see tha ther's still dust collecting inside

Clean dust and try again

I've samsung home theater model HT Z215 it's turning off after one minetue , a messege appear in the panel " fan CHK" would you please help me to fix it. kind regards;

It's telling you the cooling fan is not working effectively. Look for the dust-clogged air inlet and unclog it, maybe even go inside the unit and rid it of any dust bunnies. Ensure the whole unit has good clear airflow around it.

How do i clean the filter on my vp6325 projector?

If you have a jet air - compressor or blower- use it to clear the filter of the trapped dust within the filter. Once the filter is clean the flow of air to the lamp unit will be improved and so give you longer life on the lamp. A tiny bristle type brush can be used-- the brush of your electric shaver.

Air flow blocked message appears when turning on

Replacing the thermal sensor is the cure for this. If you call Mitsubishi at 1-800-332-2119, press 5 for Customer Service. Explain the problem and they will probably approve a extended warranty claim and get the repair done for free through a Mitsubishi Auth. Repair Facility. They will also help get you in touch with one near you. Do not delay in acting on this. I do not know how long the extended warranty claims for this problem will last.
Hope this helps,

I have a Mitsubishi DLP 1080p TV with air flow problems

Hello ags98,

First I would suggest that you re-seat the bulb and then check the cooling fan, and air flow path. In addition to checking the fan make sure all air flow ingress and egress vent are unobstructed.

I hope this helps

Thank you,
