From the part numbers you post I gather it is a John Deere equipment and your local JD dealer will be your best bet getting instructions and parts for that snow plow.
Hi there, I had the same problem, my winch has a chain to lift the plow.I put oil on the chain to keep from rusting and thats what started my troubles. So I took the mount off that holds the chain on the winch and there's a brass piece that is squeezed behind it.Cleaned and tightened it and works fine now. If you take motor off winch to check gears[ DON'T USE GREASE] when reassembling! When its cold it doesn't want to turn, just use motor oil or spray lube
Hello, My name is Dane and I am going to assist you in solving your problem. If you click the link below, it will take you to the Cub Cadet/MTD manuals page. If you put in your snow plow model number which should be "190-833" and then use a serial number of "1" you can see the manual and get the info you need. http://manuals.mtdproducts.com/mtd/Public.do?BrandCode=10051&langId=-1 Well, I hope I've helped. If you found this reply helpfull, please leave me some THUMBS UP if you think I'm deserving! :-) Thank you! Dane
It should be fine as long as the snow plow is made for your model mower you also might want to look into tire chains for the rear. One thing the plow will not work good for is wet or heavy pack snow but if you keep up with the snow it sould be fine
