Question about Konica Minolta magicolor 2430 DL Laser Printer

1 Answer

Almost black printouts.

My 2430 DL is darkening my photo output. It did this a couple days ago, then it was normal for a day or two, but now it's doing it again. The photos aren't totally black but the darker parts of the photos are totally black. A Windows XP test page produces normal looking print (no piled up toner apparent on the letters) but the Windows logo (the only color) is extremely darkened. I thought of playing with a brightness adjustment I found on some printer settings page but if I do and the printer reverts to normal, I expect everything will be washed out. Any suggestions for diagnosing and correcting this problem?

Have you tried doing a recalibration cycle ? Had trouble here following installing a new blue toner. Everything was TOO intense. Tried turning power on and off a few times and then finally found the route to forcing a full re-calibration.  Ready -->Menu select -->Menu Engine --> >Engine service -->Color calibration.
Now if we could just get rid of these lousy streaks on the side  =<

The plastic tabs on either side of the output tray have broken off. Need a new output tray for the magicolor 2430 dl printer.

It's part number 4139 1007 03 and I found it at by Googling. The little extension tab is 4139 1011 02, if you need that too.

I just need a 2430 dl driver for Imac!

You did not mention your operating system. Therefore I included all drivers for this product (2430 DL):

You will need to scroll to the heading that matches your operating system to download the correct driver.

Toner Cartage

Really Magicolor 2430DL is a very worst printer in this world.
within 2 months drum cartridge finish - no other printer like this type of option - like black, color & durm cartridge.

I will recommend - not to go for the thirdclass cartridge. go for only HP.
