Pallet jack won't let down. The lever is moving the cam on the side at the bottom.

Is it a manual pallet jack? At the base of the arm you will see a lever that the handle controls (usually it is at the end of the chain). Assist the lever by pushing it in further than the handle can able. That should allow the lift to lower. Sometimes the pallet needs to be level to lower. If it is a powered lift, check the limit switches. Good luck!

First of all, the forks are not supposed to go all the way down to the floor, that would defeat the purpose because they would drag and you wouldn't be able to pick up a pallet. But if you think the forks should be able to go down further, just stand on the forks while pulling the lowering lever. You may need to grease the machine

As the name suggests, for manual pallet jacks you walk behind the forks and pump the handle to raise them/lower them. On powered, or electric, pallet jacks, there is a throttle for moving and a lever for raising/lowering the forks. On some powered pallet jacks, there is a platform for the operator to stand on

on most jacks that have a pump up handle that on the side you pu in a handle that goes up and down. on the bottom of that part you will see a little metal nub. Just turn that conter clock wise and it will lower the jack

If your talking about a 1960 car jack you will see a littlw lever on the side that you move up or down, This will let you jack it down
