I have no cd installer for HP Photosmart C3183
since you didn't specify what operating system you are using, you can get the driver for C3183 on all operating systems in this link below:

My system is not detecting my Hp photosmart express C3183 and i have change the USB cable, still it is not being detected
There should be a driver CD with that unit. Or, the driver installation might have been ruined. The power to the printer might be turned off, or it might not be connected to electrical power. But I'd bet on the driver being the issue.

HP.com also has all the drivers available for download.

Whenever I connect my HP Photosmart C3183 to my laptop HP Pavillion tx2000 with Vista Service pack 2 ,the system cannot scan and it crashes with blue screen.
that simply shows that the drivers u are installing might not be able to work with vista, try download a good driver from a better source for your OS

welcome to vista some printer software does not work on vista if you are running the 64 bit copy i suguest that you format and burn the copy as most software will not work on it without all new drivers that you must buy from the vendor hope i helped

If you do not have the software, you need to download the software from one of the following locations:


HP Photosmart C3100 All-in-One Printer series - Download drivers


HP Photosmart C3135 All-in-One Printer



After downloading is finished, unplug the printer USB and run the software that you downloaded.
The software installer will tell you when to connect USB.
