I have a near 6-month-old sony mp3 walkman (NWZB135F) and on the (Australian) night of Sunday September 27 2009, after no trouble playing it suddenly ceases up with only the aforementioned frozen screen with only a white box around the outside, there is nothing within the screen (a) no track name, (b) no artist name, (c) nothing moving forward or backwards.
It doesn't recognise my computer (Windows Media Player usually come up) so I really dont know what else to try
