I see you replaced the Black in on your HP printer but the light keeps on blinking still.
Make sure that you remove the silicon film from the ink cartridge before installing in the printer, if that file is not removed the contact to the printers ink will not detect the ink cartridge at all.
Also try to remove all the ink cartridges and install all of them at the same time , this is to reset the printer from detecting all the printer ink cartridges.
did you change the cartridges with O.E.M. or aftermarket? If with O.E.M inks then there is a problem with the waste ink container and it needs to b cleaned.. requires removal of the waste in station which is under the inks on the right side of the printer
Hi You not say what make of printer you got so not can gave you much help, because there is a reset code for different printers, the flashing lights you may be getting it because your, waste ink pads need changing and after this you need the reset codes for it but some times just the reset code will do the trick for it to print again. Did you replace the ink cartridge with a new one, or did you refill an old one.
Some printers have a memory and can tell which ink cartridge is in them. This prevents them from easily being fooled into printing with refilled cartridges.
Another option is that you changed the ink cartridge without following the specific guidelines for replacement e.g. To replace the ink cartridge, select replace ink cartridge from the main menu, then open the printer panel when the light flashes X number of times.
You might also try unplugging the printer for a couple of minutes the reset it.
Check chip connnector at ink tank and at head carriage. It's may be dirty. Check status monitor? what ink tank not recognized. Press ink light (1-4 times) depends on number ink tank not recognized, press 1 time again, carriage will move co replacement position, unplug and plu again all ink tank, press ink light 1 more.
I have replaced my ink cartridges numerous times and they are still full. It keeps telling me the ink cartridge needs replacing. It won't print and the red light keeps blinking. I have disconnected the usb and the power. I have only had this printer for about a year. It won't scan or print. Its a Kodak Easyshare 5300. The HomeCenter AiO is disconnected so how do I contact anyone from Kodak?
Yeah its a pain in the rear - only solution I have found is bite the bullet and replace the ink tank. They have have a chip and if the chip goes bad you are screwed. Mine likes to go out on the cyan tank. Great product Canon.
