Carriage assembly is broken. need a new one

The replacement carriage can be ordered either through a retailer that carries this brand or from the manufacturers or a distributors website. If you have the owners manual it may list the part number otherwise you can look it up using the model number

My dear wife took the lid handle off our breville gourmet wok. The pieces include a screw, a spring and 3 other parts. Im not sure if i put it together properly. Could you help out. Thanks

This is for assembling the Breville Wok lid. This has a built in vent that lets steam escape during cooking. There are 8 pieces not including the glass cover: bolt, metal vent, black O ring, tan round plastic piece, black lid piece (has open/close) on it, spring, clear plastic seal, lid handle.
Order of assembly as follows, starting on inside of glass cover.1. Bolt.2. Metal vent piece sits on top of bolt.3. Black O ring fits snuggly onto of vent piece.Insert what you have assembled against inside of glass cover, bolt poking through topside of glass.4. Add tan plastic piece with 3 prongs going facedown against the glass hole of cover.5. Larger black lid piece goes next. You will need to line up the openings on tan piece and this lid piece so that it sits semi-flush against glass. When complete this piece will turn in place to open/close vent (less than 1/4 turn before stopping).6. Add clear plastic seal to underside of handle.7. Place spring between handle and top of black lid piece and screw together until snug.
Test lid by turning lid piece. It should move back and forth according to the open/close print on top. If no luck, go to step 5 and try again. It is a little tricky, but does work when done correctly.

Carriage jam

Hi there

Follow these steps to fix the problem

Unplug the power cord of the printer and open the cover to reveal the carriage assembly.

Squeeze the two levers beneath the paper tray together to remove the tray.

Slide the carriage assembly from the left side of the printer to the middle where you have easy access to it. If the carriage assembly will not slide, Push down the large black bar located directly above the rollers and then release it so that it springs back up. Now attempt to slide the carriage assembly to the right again. If it still does not slide, Locate the flat black component found directly below the rollers in the tray compartment. It should be lying flat, parallel with the base of the printer. If it is pointing upward, push it down.

Slide the carriage assembly over to the right once all of the above parts are in their correct positions

Lift the actuator arm, which is directly above the white and/or gray gear assembly at the left side of the printer. The actuator arm is thin strip of black plastic that is approximately 1 3/4 inches long and 1/3 inch wide. Lifting it and releasing it should restore it to its proper position.

Put the paper tray back in the printer. With the cover of the printer still open, plug in the power cord and turn on the printer.

Press and hold "Resume," then close the cover of the printer.

Black ink carriage broken

with most laser printers nowadays, it would be easier to junk the one you have and go buy one from wal-mart or someplace of the like than to have it fixed. most printer manufacturers dont even sell replacement mechanical parts through their sites anymore... its just not cost effective to either the producer or consumer.

How to replace broken hinge on ADF on Brother MFC-8820D printer

Look at back of machine and at your new hinge, note the screw hole, if you undo both of those on the back of the printer, entire doc feed will come up and out, BECAREFULL just lift A LITTLE is enough to enable hinge base to be free of sockets (many cables attached) and place doc unit slightly sideways on copy glass to enable yourself access to 3 screws that hold hinge.
