It is not a problem to connect wires by colours, but take care that they need to be isolated separatly

It is easier just to replace the phone cable and less likely to give you problems in the future.

Dog chewed wire in power adapter

If you have a soldering iron and some experience, it is easy to solder the parts back together, just be sure to examine the cord closely for any chew marks /pierces. If you do not have a soldering iron / eperience, generic power supplies for laptops with voltage switchable voltage for different brands and different heads are about 30$, check your local store. be sure to by one with enough watts to power your system.

My dog chewed my wires, how or where can i fix it?

Well depending on where the dog chewed the wires. If you have 2 or however many internal wires, as well as a decent length of wire If you have 3 - 6 inches that you can work with I would suggest the following. Take and individualize the colors of wire on both ends. Strip about an inch and a half long peice of wire with either a wire stripper or carefully with a needle nose plyers. After that match the color wire on the other half and twist them together. Once you have the colors all matched use electrical tape and seperate each color with a layer or two of tape. Then tape it all together. Hope this helps you out. happy gaming

Dog chewed wires to the sounsticks. Right through. Is there a way to repair?

Strip the insulation back from each end of the severed wires about 1/4". Twist the copper wires that match each other together and solder with a hobby (30watt) soldering iron. Wrap each wire separately with electrical tape and then to make the job look neat, tightly wrap electrical tape around all the wires in a spiral fashion. This should fix the problem.

My ABS light just came on in my 2002 isuzu axiom,

Funny thing is my ABS light came on and when I climbed under my truck I found out my dog got up in my wheel well and chewed the ABS line, causing the ABS light to come on. I simply spliced the line back together. Probably not the answer you'r elooking for but if you have dogs in your garage, it's worth getting under their to see if there are any hanging wires.

98 grand cherokee. what electric or cable tubing

Don't remember, but a guess is that they may be for your vapor recovery system.May also be fuel lines but they are usually on drivers side. follow them and see where they go. Visible wiring should be color coded ...just match the wire colors and splice them together. If lines that are open are fuel lines, the high pressure one needs to have a steel line inserted, then join with pressure rubber hose and clamps. Using the steel insert prevents the plastic line from crushing when clamps are tightened. Vapor lines can just be spliced with hose and clamped, just don't go crazy with tightening...snug ,not torqued to elephant pounds.

Dog chewed cord on bissell model 6579-2 how do I replace it?

You can cut the bad section of wire out of the cord, cut the insulation on the cord to get to the wires. Match your colors, strip the insulation from the individual wires and twist together. Wrap each wire with electrical tape (making sure no wire is exposed, can be a fire hazard), then wrap the cord with electrical tape. The cord will be a little shorter, but should work fine.

Sometimes you can just turn off the power and cut out the bad spot and strip back the outer casing, match the colors and wire nut it back together. You need to be careful so that the new connection is not accessable to the bad weather. If you cannot protect the wire from the wet weather you should just replace the wire by running new.

That wire is to your thermostat which of course turns the A/C on/off. One thing you can do is to splice the wire back together w/ small wire nuts (available at hardware store or wal-mart, and just hook it up color to color and then tape w/ electrical tape. Make sure you turn your breaker off and turn off the thermostat control.
