Question about Radio Shack TRC-447 CB Radio
Well my cb radio used to work. I'm still able to get power but it wont let me change channels. What could the problem be?
Do you have your channel switch ( the first switch to the left as you look at the front of the radio ) switched to a normal position ? If so, you may have a bad switch. Another problem could be a bad PLL Chip which is the frequency control device. I hope this helps.
As for the Guest post on the TRC-466, I would install a new mic first, as if there is a problem in the mic or cord, it will cause the sound to quit. Other than that, it would be a good guess that the audio chip is bad. Good Luck
