i dont have a solution but my phone will let me see the text messages but when i want to reply it automatically shuts off and turns back on. And its starting to freeze lately. i think its not our fault its the people that installed our phones.
I have the KP501, too. Well, as I know, there is no difference between KP500 and KP501...it's the same OS...My Cookie doesn't want to turn on. When I try to turn on the phone it shows just the LG logo, more not. A few seconds later it turns automatically off and than 3 seconds later it turns on again....I don't know how is this happening...searching for help!!! please help me.... :S
Right reset your phone. Connect to a computer, click file transfer. take the phone out, this automatically resets it. After youre phone should work with camera, remember take one picture, if you dont then it wont work again. Same problem with me, and i fixed it.
i took my phone to my nearest Nokia Care Centre (you can search for your nearest one via the Nokia website)
and they said that it is basically in need of a software update.. which is FREEE!
they took about 2 hours to do it... and now i have my phone back to normal
hope this helps..
well, it should help : )
hello there ..problem with your display IC i believe its a very old phone
you need to consult a
local repair shop...they will probably say that screen needs to be changed but i would advice buying a new phone is always
better than repairing ..some other problem will keep on emerging if you
go for repairing....while you can buy a new phone that will save a lot
of time ,money and energy
Do a reflash through Wotan, including upgrade of EROM, whatever that is. First start the phone without SIM, turn it off, put SIM back, turn it on again. Now everything should be back to normal.
My theory is that last time this happened to me, the M2 had a corrupt file system, problem solved by reinstalling programs. This time internal file system was corrupt, reflashing wrote a fresh file system, solving all problems at once (well, almost).
