I bought a Samsung BD-P1590 from Costco for $179.99. When I try to play a "Lie To Me" disc, the FBI Anti-Piracy Warning appears on screen, and never goes away. It freezes on that screen. I have Netflix, so I have asked for three different "Lie To Me" discs, and they have all had the same problem.
It may be a disc incompatibilty. Make sure you have the latest firmware for your unit. Report the problem to samsung to see if you there is a issue or a future fix. Blu-ray players are STILL trying to be finalized and only recently have they gotten smoother. Some players are better at some discs than others. Please take a sec to let me know if this helps.

we were given a samsung 1500 blu ray player and want to play a movie - but we did NOT get the remote - is there a way to get the movie to play? it plays all the previews but when we get to the main menu and try to hit play when it is on the "play movie" option, we just get the little red circle/slash showing it won't play. do we NEED a remote to get it to play?
