What if I need to re-install my Fugawi software on a new computer?

Fugawi software can still be activated for use on a new computer. You will need to have your original install disk, USB key, or the last update file that you downloaded, as well as your original product serial number. There is not a service available to re-supply these items. Make sure your computer is connected to the internet while you install Fugawi. Because of recent changes to Windows, set your computer to launch Fugawi software in Administrator Mode. When prompted, click Automatic Activation. Do not click the Manual Activation option as support is not available for this option.

More than likely your not going to be able to find a part once its been discontinued, especially if its been that way for a while, but there is an alternative though. There are companies that specialize in rebuilding control boards, etc that have been discontinued and are no longer available. I would contact a company like appliance parts depot or another major distributor because they will have the numbers you'll need to contact those companies, but remember, whatever the cost of the part was is nothing compared to the cost they charge to remake the part.

There should be no disadvantage to buying a discontinued garmin nuvi 1300 as garmin continue to support their discontinued models. Even if you buy a new one now it will be probably discontinued next year since garmin seem to create a whole new series each year or so. Most of the garmin satnavs in use are discontinued models. When I bought mine the 1300 hadn't even been released and I have had no problems.

You won't be eligible for an upgrade from your current phone unless it's already time for an upgrade. Discontinued phone production doesn't relate to discontinued support for that phone. You should still be able to go into a store for help on problems with your phone. Also; usually after phones are discontinued, there are warehouses full of them leftover so I wouldn't be too worried about it.

I find that hard to be true. The manufactuer just came out with updates for the Nuvi 3xx and 6xx this month (Aug 09) and those models are older than your Nuvi 205W. When you mean updates are you referring to firmware or maps? Either way, even the discontinued models are still being supported with firmware & map updates.
