Have labtop computer but for some reason computer cannot find network with router. My computer works fine with my cable wire connected staight into it but when i plug the cable in the ethernet spot on router the computer cannot find a network.
The owners manual should tell you how to do this but below is a summary.
Connect to your router via the cable connection by typing in the ip address of the router. Note the SSID, Password and security settings. Also make sure WLAN is transmitting via WiFi.
Disconnect pc/router cable.
Activate your WLAN at the pc
Make sure you can see your SSID from your Laptop.
Make the connection by clicking on your SSID and enter the required password and security settings.
