Question about Nokia E71 Smartphone
Dont put that PUK Code in. It's the wrong code. You actually need to call into the service provider and get them to give you the override code. If you do use the 00000000 code it will zap your sim card after the 3rd try and they will make you buy a brand new sim.
So as a warning DO NOT ENTER THAT 8 DIGIT CODE!!! it will kill your sim and all important informartion collected on it will be gone with it.
How do I know this, I just went through it, and instead of going ahead and trying to fix it myself I called in. If you are trying to override it because you stole it. I wouldn't try to. You will need to buy a new sim. And they will ask for your phone scan the number on the phone to find who it's registered to and you will end up with no phone.
Just a warning :)

Call up your service provider. They have the necessary codes for your SIM.
