I bought a computer and it was pre loaded but i dont have my windowsxp media centre addition cd so i cant reload my computer i only have my key number so i tring to find out if i can download a copie and burn to a disk

Can you reload last known good configuration? Tap F8 as the computer boots up to pull up safe mode, etc options. If that doesn't work, you're SOL. The fact you cannot even boot up safe mode pretty much means you're hosed. If you have files on that hard drive, I would recommend pulling the hard drive out and getting the data off w/ a hard drive adapter. Once all files saved, I would wipe the drive and reinstall the operating system. Sorry. Situations like that ****.

Please see if you are getting the round speaker symbol next to the clock in the right hand bottom of the screen. If not , you will have to reload the audio driver from your Motherboard CD and restart the PC.
If the speaker symbol is there , double click on the symbol and see if you CD Volume Tab and Master Volume Tab is low or UNTICK THE MUTE TAB if its on. Do all this while playing a CD.

How do I reinstall the Operating System on my computer? Select models have the ability to have the Operating System reinstalled from a hidden partition built into the computer.

To start the system recovery:

1. Restart the computer.
2. When the Acer logo appears on the screen, press the Alt and F10 keys repeatedly.

Note: If you do not have a set of Acer Recovery Media, you may purchase the set online from the Acer Recovery Media Order Form. If your computer is unable to run the Acer Recovery process, or errors occur during recovery, please contact Acer support.

How long have you had this new machine? If it's BRAND new, bring it back n get a new one that does work!

i dont think you can upload maps to an i3, it can only load pre-loaded maps on micro-sd cards.
