  1. Connect your iPod Touch to the computer you usually sync it with. When you disconnect your iPod, it should now be unlocked.
  2. If Step 1 does not work, you have to restore your iPod Touch. Be advised that restoring your iPod Touch returns it to the original factory settings. This means that all your songs and files will be deleted and lost. You can resync your files to your iPod from iTunes once you have finished restoration. Connect your iPod to your computer and open iTunes. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes before proceeding.
  3. In the left navigation panel in iTunes, select your iPod under the "Devices" section. Click the "Summary" tab and select "Restore."
  4. When iTunes prompts you about backing up your data, click "Back Up." In the following window, click "Restore."
  5. After the restore process completes, you will see the Apple logo on the screen of your iPod. Leave your iPod connected to your computer until it shows up again on the iTunes navigation panel.
  6. Your iPod touch is now unlocked. In iTunes you will be able to setup your iPod. Select the backup you made in the drop-down menu to restore your data files. Click "Continue" to finish the restoration.
WARNING:
Apple notes that the company will not be able to help you unlock your iPod if you forget the security combination. Your only choice is to restore the device to the original factory settings.

Go onto iTunes, try to recover your iPod, and get your files. If you don't care about the files, reset it. If you need more details, just ask and I will try my best!

How can I unlock a disabled ipod touch?

Step 1:
The iPod Touch is a type of iPod that features a touch screen and can function as both a portable media player and as a pocket computer. It is possible to password protect your iPod Touch so that you will have to enter a password every time you want to unlock the iPod Touch screen. If you repeatedly enter the incorrect passcode, your iPod Touch will become disabled. To unlock a disabled iPod Touch, you need to sync your iPod Touch device with iTunes on your computer.

Attach the iPod Touch data cable to the bottom of your iPod Touch device and attach the other end of the data cable to an available USB port on your computer. Open iTunes on your computer and then select your iPod Touch device from the list of available devices on the left side of the iTouch window. Click the "Restore" button. If you have previously backed up your iPod Touch, you can choose to restore the device to the last back up or any saved backup. If you have never backed up your iPod Touch, this process will restore your iPod Touch's factory settings. Wait while iTunes syncs with your iPod Touch and restores the device. iTunes will prompt you when this process is complete.

Ipod touch disabled

If you repeatedly enter the wrong passcode, iPhone or iPod touch will be disabled for longer intervals, before you can try again. After too many unsuccessful attempts, you won't be able to try again until you connect to the computer you normally sync with. Note that starting with iPhone 2.1 software, there is a setting to cause the device to erase itself after 10 consecutive incorrect password attempts. This setting is off by default. It can be turned on by tapping Settings > General > Passcode Lock after you enter a correct passcode.
If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device on the computer that was used to originally sync the iPhone or iPod touch so that you can reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced to the iPhone or iPod touch, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode but your data will not be present.

Try turning off your ipod, holding the home button, and plugging it in, while still holding the home button, until a picture of the ipod cable appears pointing to the itunes symbol. this will reset you ipod, and you don't need the passcode to make it usable again.
