1280x1024 @ 60 Hz is a monitor resolution while H=90KHz v=60HZ means

your screen is fine. v=60Hz means you're running at 60 Hz and 90 KHz is just the amount of voltage going to your horizontal lines of the screen. as long as the text size did not change your monitor settings are fine. but if they have changed, do as the other guy said and rightclick on empty space on the desktop - click properties. then click the settings tab and change the resolution slider to one that is most comfortable to you. on vista rightclick on empty desktop space - click personalize - then click display properties. for DPI issues click on the advanced button and select Normal (96) DPI mode and restart your computer.

Question about my HP desktop model p6-2003 computer blue light on and moniter going to sleep moniter going to sleep

in control panel, select the power Options,, Change the preffered plans to HIGH PERFORMANCE then click on change plan settings, change turn of diaplayto never and put computer to sleep never... Remember to turn on your screen saver and put the pc to sleep manually when not using it.

this is a common problem and caused by corrupted registry entries. The popper fix is to reformat or restore the system.

Delete my web search toolbar

If you just want to hide it for the moment then just RIGHT-click on the CLEAR area of your toolbars and click WEB SEARCH

If you want to remove it completely from your computer then click the START button on the TASKBAR, click SETTINGS, click CONTROL PANEL, click ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS, find the web search program and click on it and click CHANGE/ROMOVE

My Acer P196hqv moniter is always offset by about 50mm when I start my computer, and I have to use the moniter controls to correct it. Very frustrating!

this is because the boot up screen and the welcome screen comprises of many differences they differ in resolution ,colour depth etc so if once the moniter is set for welcome screen it may be irregular for boot window

Moniter problem

you could try before spending money on it is simply to change the Timing mode in the Windows display settings. Go to "Control Panel > Display", then select the "Settings" tab and click the "Advanced" button. Select the "Monitor" tab and change the screen timing to a different Hertz value in the "Screen refresh rate" menu box. Don't forget to save these settings by clicking "Apply" and "OK" to close all of the Windows settings windows.

Control pannel

your account/user must be set as guest, you should have it set as an adninistrator, either create yourself a new account or try to change your account type. If you are unable to set an account as administrator you will have to reinstall windows to set admin up.
