Insignia ns-ltdvd26-09 no sound. The power supply board was recently replaced but now there is no sound.

The sound card is part of the main PCB in the TV, I really suggest you buy a new set, get a VIZIO, they really last mine in 12 years old and still going strong.

Is there a repair manual for insignia NS-LT-DVD-26?

Service manuals are hard to find now a days, even service parts. Check the link provided to find the main board for your LCD.
Finding the tuner alone might be hard or if you do, it might cost you the same as replacing the entire main board.

NS-LTDVD26-09 power

Good day!!!!

That problem is usually cause of faulty capacitors on the power supply board..

Just follow this instruction to fix your TV..

1. Open the back cover of your TV.
2. Look at the power supply board..Its normally connected to the power cord..
3. After that,,try to look at the actual image of capacitors if it is bulged on the top so that you can easily determine the bad capacitors..
4. After that,,try to replaced the bad capacitors using soldering iron and soldering lead..replaced the capacitors only with the same type ratings and value..
5. Some of the capacitors not bulged so its better if have a capacitance meter

Power supply board is the cause. The power supply board is shutting down, not giving the right voltage to the tv anymore.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

It is always recommended to ensure that your TV is powered down before connecting or disconnecting cables. Unfortunately, it is likely that your TV requires service for the power issue.
