Could be a ton of things. Essentially the TV sees an issue and refuses to come on to avoid flames and burning components.

Take it to a repair center and see if repair is cheaper than a new set.

50 inch LED flat screen, picture went blank, is there a reset button?

If the picture went blank, either the TV has no signal or something is defective within the TV's electronic components. There is no reset button that will repair a broken TV.

Is your model a HCL4715? If so it doesnt have a lamp it has three CRTs ( picture Tubes) instead. Please respond to this same post and verify your model number and tell me what happens when you press the power button, and I will assist you with your problem.

No Picture, cannot power off without unplugging, flashing green light

The part is Replace an X-tal (Viper) on SSB item 1H00, order code: 242254301397. The small small signal board is the one with the video jack on it. It mat be easyer to replace the SSB but yes it will cost more.

Red light on power button flashes, but no picture....blank screen

I would suspect a problem in either the backlight assembly, or the power supply that drives it. If it's the power supply, the part may be over $100.
