Question about Apple iPod nano MP3 Player
Ok, so I don't know if I lost my iPod or if it was stolen. I have a Vera Bradley case that I usually keep my phone in. But one time I put my phone and my iPod in it. I forgot my iPod was in it and I took it on the bus. I decided to listen to my iPod. I got my phone out too. Before we got to school, I put my iPod and my phone back in the case. Then a few minutes later right as we pulled up to school, I quick took my phone out to turn it off, which I had forgotten to do earlier. Then I went to gym at 3rd period, took some stuff out of my bag, and went to the gym. Then- and this is when I think it got stolen- I had color guard practice with the band after school. My bag was sitting on a shelf in the band room hallway with a bunch of other bags. I came back when practice was done and it wasn't there.
My bus driver, luckily, checks the bus after she drops senior high/junior high kids off. I asked her the next morning if she found anything and she said no, but she said she would look under the seats and around them. And we had a "substitute" bus so I couldn't look anywhere. I checked everywhere in my bag and it wasn't there. I couldn't check my gym locker though. Do you think that my iPod might be on the bus, in my gym locker, or do you think someone stole it? I don't know when and why some band person could steal my iPod. So if you have any tips or any ideas on what I should do please tell me!

SOURCE: Ipod won't turn on
Try to turn on your ipod by holding the center button and the menu button both at the same time for about 6-10 seconds. Sometimes the hard drive on the ipod likes to freeze and just needs to be reset.

SOURCE: IPod wont turn on!! HELP!!
yeah its most likely your ipods battery. if it works when its getting charged but not when its not then thats not good. mine is old and the battery is losing power a lot faster than it used to and when it almost dies and then dies it makes that noise. you can get a new battery for it. you can get them on ebay for cheap. they come with the tool to open it ( i just used 2 credit cards) and instructions to replace the battery.

Also after leaving it in the rice for 24 hours you will want to connect the iPod to your computer. It should come right on, but if it does not try resetting it. Below I have posted a step by step on resetting an iPod just in case you need the information. If it still will not turn on at all, leave it connected for at least four hours. Then attempt to reset it again. If none of these steps bring you to a resolution, you have a hardware issue and will need to either service it or replace it. I do hope this helps though. Please let me know how it turns out.
Learning how to reset or restart your iPod.
Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.) Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step. Tip: If you are having difficulty resetting your iPod, set it on a flat surface. Make sure the finger pressing the Select button is not touching any part of the click wheel. Also make sure that you are pressing the Menu button toward the outside of the click wheel, and not near the center.
If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep.
If you are still unable to reset your iPod, use only one finger from one hand to press the Center (Select) button, and one finger from the other hand to press the Menu button.
When you reset iPod all your music and files are saved, but some customized settings may be lost. Date and time are preserved (unless the iPod reset itself because it had no power and then was reconnected to power). Other customized settings, such as Bookmarks, On-The-Go Playlists, Shuffle, Backlight timer, and so forth are preserved from the last time the hard drive turned on.

Tips for a great answer:
Lost or Stolen Phone Policy: For any lost or stolen SAFELINK WIRELESS phone, you may request and receive only one replacement phone per customer. The replacement phone will be a refurbished phone. All reported lost and stolen phones will be permanently deactivated. The replacement phone will include only 10 minutes of lost airtime. Any additional airtime that you may have had on your lost phone will not be replaced. In the event you lose your replacement phone or it is stolen, you will need to purchase an additional phone. If a phone is lost or stolen while in transit to the customer before the customer receives the phone, the lost phone and airtime may be replaced as a onetime courtesy in TracFone's sole discretion.
