Laptop keeps freezing

Try this:
Take out the battery, unscrew the bottom panel and carefully vacuum out all the dust, also from any air vents -put it back together and try again.
If you still get the same problem :
either do a factory reset, lookup how to do this on the manufacturers website, its usually shift+an f key which will restore it from the hidden partition. If that is not possible on your system you'll need either the operating system on DVD or usb flash drive with an active partition to reinstall the operating system.
If you have data you want to salvage on the harddrive, take it out and connect it to other computer, either inside a desktop or get a usb adapter, it could be that the harddrive has passed it's expiration date, so it'll need replacing.

This is the best advice I can offer without knowing more about the system

Hi, I have an Hitachi 721010CLA332 SATA 1TB HDD and it has starting freezing up and making a repeating clicking noise like its getting stuck. I'm wondering if there is anything i can look at or try before...

Don't try to repair it. The internal workings are very delicate and need to be completely dust free. Your drive is failing, Try and save as much of your personal Data from it as you can before it stops completely. Check on the Hitachi website to see if it is under warranty. The company will only replace the hardware not, try and recover your software even if it is under warranty.

My pc no have sound driver

You need to find the make/model of your PC. Once you have done this, goto the manufacturer's website and install the latest driver for the sound card inside your computer. If that doesn't work, there are two steps you can take to update your sound card.
1) Goto Start > Control Panel > Device Manager > Sound, Video, and Game Controllers. You should see your Sound Card on this list. If it's not there, goto View and click on Show Hidden Devices. Look at what kind of sound card you have and head to the website to update the Drivers. If it's not in your Device Manager, open up your computer and look on the sound card for a manufacturer name and model. Once you have that, goto the manufacturer's website and install the latest drivers.

If you don't know what to look for, or if you've never opened up your computer before, take it to a computer technician and have them take a look for you. Remember to ground yourself before touching anything inside your computer. If you are not grounded you could very well blow out a vital piece of the computer's hardware.

I upgraded to windows 7 and that worked for about 4-5 months untill recently, my machine keeps freezing. i have done all that i could think of but the problem still persist. can you please help. thank you.

Try to clean your systems unit by using vacuum cleaner and put some oil into your fan, like CPU and auxiliary fan. If its still freezing try to reformat your computer from scratch. Before that you have to back up your files.

Pc freezing up

There is a strong chance that you got something nasty which keep connecting on the net when you
are using these apps.

I suggest an online scan with Kaspersky and a malware scan asap.

Computer freezes up

Are you using outlook for your mail? You probably have a virus, spyware or both. You need to run a virus scan with either avast antivirus or avg, both free programs. Then download and run adaware personal, also free and look for spyware. Finally download ccleaner for free and use that to do a final cleanup. Your computer will be clean and running much faster. You should also switch to a free web based email like yahoo to avoid more infections. - my website
