All depends on what model computer/mobo, and what passcode you are trying to get past.

Most desktops will clear a bios or poweron password by powering off, then moving a jumper called either 'CMOS', 'Clear BIOS', or 'Password'. Wait 30 seconds, move it back to wherever it was to start with, power on and go.

Open the computer case then unplug the battery on it (looks like a metal circle with a contact on it (Don't break it or your computer won't be able to remember the time when it loses power)

- Open the computer case then unplug the battery on it (looks like a metal circle with a contact on it (Don't break it or your computer won't be able to remember the time when it loses power) and unplug the power cable for about 20 seconds then put it back together

REMOVE THE CMOS BATTERY FOR 5 MINUTES, THAT IS THE GENERIC FIX, U DON'T MENTION MODEL NUMBER OR MAKER OF BOARD.
