I HAVE AN ID MACHINE THAT KEEPS GETTING THE ERROR MESSAGE HEAD LIFT ERROR. I'VE TRIED TURNING ON AND OFF. TAKING IT APART AND PUTTING IT TOGETHER AGAIN AND NOTHING WORKS. KEEPS SAYING ITS BUSY AND THEN WILL NOT PRINT AN ID CARD. ANY SUGGESTION?

I have the same issue and it seems to be the belt that drives the printhead that is worn, this is a very inexpensive part and can be replaced by a tech. Also I have contacted Fargo Tech Support and the problem may also lay in the sensor that is behind the circuit board.
