My top loading Washer will not run at all

I would replace the cold water inlet valve at the rear of the washer (pull the washer away from the wall), it is easy to do and the part is less than $20.00

Check that there is nothing in the pump .

The problem is your water inlet valve has failed. It is stuck in an open position. Part # AP3267279 at www.appliancehelponline.com
cost is $37.87 easy to replace. Remove top cover to acess.

If the motor is not running, then it sounds like the lid switch. If the motor is running, the belt could be the problem.

Are you connected to a 30 amp breaker w/ 30 amp wire?

I would suggest to stop doing full loads or to keep top closed on washer while doing clothes. you have a very strong agitator.

dryer tub loose

i assume washer never starts running if not suspect water level switch or connection hose also be sure small hose to switch is not plugged or mashed flat even a small hole in hose may cause it not to get pressure to tell switch drum is full ..if washer does start running suspect bad water valve may not be shutting off

yes there a seal under the tub ring make sure tub ring has all the snaps in place
