Question about HP LaserJet 3100 All-In-One Printer
My trusty HP 3100 will not connect to new XP systems via a USB to Parallel Bi-Directional Cable. I have loaded the latest BIOS / drivers etc via an old PC.
When connecting via USB XP does start the hardware wizard and recognise the HP 3100. However no priniting is possible, I have tried every combination of printer ports e.g. USB, LPT2 etc with no joy
Follow the link and get the correct driver and get installed
Also try with another USB cable, If you are using a long cable, just try with a short one.
