Connection to PC / Laptop

First install the LG software on your laptop called pc suite.if you have done this then on your laptop go to control panel then system then device manager then check whether the port on which you connected your handset is working properly.If yes then go and check the settings of the pc suite you installed.Did you enable file sharing on the suite?

When I try to open the content (inorder to transfer files from internal memory to my pc) it says invalid access to memory. Why? And what is the solution?

go to http://update.lgmobile.com and download the Manual & Software section to download the LG PC Suite for your phone.

Download the LG KU990 PC Suite. Just Install it to your PC, and connect your phone. You can transfer/copy your data and pictures from your phone to your PC.

You may need the data cable provided with your phone ready, for fast transfer of files.

If you are trying to connect your LG KU990 with Data Service, you have to isntall the drivers for it. The drivers should have come with the small CD.

If you want to change to Mass Storage mode: Menu>Settings>Phone Settings>Connectivity>USB Connection Mode>Mass Storage.

I had the exact same problem and every site told me I had to download something. They lied. Go to "settings" on your phone. Click the "more" button. Next click the "connection" button. Then click "USB connection mode". Select "mass storage" and then connect the data cable. You have to change the USB connection mode before you connect the cable or it won't work. Your PC or laptop will now have a new driver to transfer files to and from. Good luck and I hope this helps.

Firstly You Need To Go In To Phone Settings Then Down To Connectivity Then You Go To USB Connection Mode Switch To Mass Storage.
Then Put Your USB Lead In. Let The Computer Install The Drivers Wait A Few Minutes.

Then Removable Disk J (Normaly J If Not It Will Another One) Then Auto Play Will Pop Up And Your Able To Get To All The Stuff On Your Phone

Yes it will do that but as we all know , windows vista needs burning, I honestly have no idea where to tell you to look for drivers to work with vista...but you can try and unistalling and then re-install the cd tat came with the phone....then see if they is an upgrade site on the cd, or a lg website that you can log-on to and get the driver/s for your mobile.
