Question about Maytag Dryers
You should be able to pry out both the male and female piece with a thin blade screwdriver or putty knife. Don't worry if you break either piece. You should end up with two holes. one in door and one in front panel. Buy kit and pop in both new pieces.
You may want to buy the kit first (part number 306436)...it will show you the construction of the two pieces before you begin prying.

Tips for a great answer:
May 12, 2012 | Maytag Epic 7.0 Cu. Ft. SuperSize Capacity...
Buzzer comes on because the control senses that the door is
not closed and won't start the cycle. This issue is caused by door switch-latch
assembly (part#6 and part#9 in this diagram) that is bad and should be replaced.
Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.
