You have probably already found that the board someone has posted is nothing like yours. That is because E210882 is not a motherboard number. It is a manufacturing standard for many motherboards.Just post the model of your DELL pc here, and we can go from there.

If they use the wide ribbon cable, you need the cables with two connectors. Then set on drive to master and one to slave, or set both to CS - for cable select. When you restart the computer, the OS will do the rest.

Power on problems With Gateway Lt4004u Netbook 1gb 250gb Mini Laptop Notebook 10.1 10 Inch

When you connect the power adapter into the laptop, does the power LED light up? If not then - The battery adapter or the adapter's power lead or the laptop's power socket could be faulty. Check power adapter's DC plug that connects into the laptop power socket with a multi-meter, the voltage should be slightly higher than the voltage that is printed on the label on the bottom of the adapter. If the voltage is zero or way below the voltage that is printed on the label then the power adapter is faulty and needs to be replaced. If the adapter is OK then connect it to the laptop and power it up, then look at the power/battery charging LED light and wriggle the power plug in the laptop's power socket. If the power/battery LED light flashes and in a certain position this LED light stays firm, then the power socket is either faulty or it has a dry solder joint where it is connected to the motherboard. This can be repaired but it requires the laptop to be completely dismantled to get at this power socket and repair. If you cannot DIY then I suggest you get a quote first.

Hello myasinmalik,
this is a [Picture Diagram] of the {PIN Sequence], in the order of "Connections."

!Warning: "Before disconnecting, or connecting: Cables, Wires, Power Supplies, or Pins!"
"Unplug "All Power Sources" from {'Wall' AC - Power Outlets}."
This can cause "Injury to Persons, and or Damage to Equipment."

Shut it off

Explanation sounds like motherboard or SMPS problem.

Try removing all your cables from motherboard including hard drive and other cables. Make sure to note down the power button placement on mother to later set it up the same way. Also need to test motherboard

Unscrew your motherboard from the cabinet and tilt you cabinet, place some plastic or wooden peice on cabinet and put your motherboard over it. Connect VGA Cable & Keyboard to motherboard. Now connect the power cable to mother board. Looks like one in image and try powering on by connecting only powerbutton cables. See it allows you to on CMOS setup. If it does, try connecting hard drive cables and try booting up. If doesnt work, finally hope my recommendation might be of some information

Replacing either would be less costly then getting complete new computer. You already have rest of things just get a good & latest package of CPU and Motherboard.

Hmmm.... mainly you have:
-20 or 24-pins connector, that is unique and goes directly to motherboard (powers motherboard and its components)
-4 or 8-pins connector that powers CPU
-the rest would be connectors for ROM (CD/DVD/BlueRay) and HDD devices (there are: molex and sata power conectors)

Need help

It is because of the faulty display BUS cable. So you better replace the flat Bus Cable connecting the motherboard and the Display to get it fixed.

Disconnect all the cables from the Back of your Computer.
after disconnecting all the cables press the Power button and hold it for 30 seconds, after that connect power cable and monitor cable and turn it on, if it turns on then turn it off and connect mouse and keyboard and turn it On, if it works then you can connect rest of the cables, if it coes not work then you need to open the CPU and Reseat the Ram and try to restart the computer, if that doesnot work there could be any hardware problem.

Connections of cables

There should be a set of pins on the motherboard that connect all those cables to, if they are not labeled then you are going to need the motherboard manual. You can probable get that from the manufactures website.

No booting (Smthing I never seen)

is the power supply good enough? a P4 certified? You need at least a 400W, better anything higher for a decent machine today. Low quality PSUs do that, just will not turn on. (assuming all the rest is set and connected properly as u said, otherwise there is a trilion other possibilities, like wrong cpu type, an onboard VGA card as default, CPU power cable not connected, graphics card not seated properly, IDE cable in wrong position, etc...)
