Where is serial no on cooey 64 22cal auto LR can't find one

Your rifle was probably manufactured at a time when serializing was only done on larger caliber guns. Many .22lr rifles have no serial number so I wouldn't expect to find one. At one time the model 64 was manufactured by Cooey, Winchester or Lakeland, so the roll stamp on the barrel at the chamber end is your best bet in refining the information you have. There are a dozen manufacturers firearms dating from the 1900 through 1967 that did not serialize small bore guns because it was not required by law. The National Firearms Act of 1967 put an end to that - now every firearms produced for sale in the US has to be serialized.

I need to adjust my trigger pull on a Ruger Model 77 rifle.

If you'll look up into the trigger assembly inside the trigger guard you'll see a set screw. I've got one of those old Rugers and supposedly that set screw is for adjusting trigger pull wt.

Winchester model 88. with the trigger assembly

Less Than Perfect
The Model 88 had its faults. The trigger moves with the lever and the resulting linkage to the sear results in a rather spongy, creepy trigger break. If you want to see your gunsmith turn pale, waltz into the shop with an M88 and ask for a crisp three-pound trigger.

If you already have taken the gun apart, don't be afraid to hone the parts on a stone , keep them flat, you don't want anything rounded off. Especially the sear. I found that quote up top from a winchester sight,

I need help replacing a bostitch framing air nailer trigger model 28ww it's leaking air and won't work.

follow closely, do you have a new trigger assembly because the problem is with one o ring commonly referred as the purple o ring in the kits? either way the procedure to remove the trigger is first knock out the roll pin for the trigger latch and then the 2 roll pins for the trigger assembly. next get a shop rag or equivelant and place under the now exposed trigger assembly and then while holding the collar on the air chuck plug into tool and hold rag tight and trigger will "pop" out pull the chuck away and remove the 2 pins to disassemble the assembly or install in reverse order lubricating the o rings first. Let me know if you have any questions or problems.

Machine erro 71 new scanner moter still giving me erro 71???

sometimes people use different names for these two items, but "scanner" to me as a tech, is the assembly with the light under the glass. the error 71 points to your "laser" unit which is pretty deep inside your machine and most likely, only a tech would be able to replace it. once replaced, the code will automatically reset.
