Question about Whirlpool LER4634J Electric Dryer
We are changing the power cord on a Whirlpool dryer model LER4624000. The new power cords has4 colored wires...black, red, white and green. The dryer only had 3 screws for hooking them up and they are not colored. How do I know which color goes where? Thanks for any help you can give.
*First ; before starting unplug unit or shut off breaker.
you should be able to match up color for color on your dryer, the fourth wire, green (ground) screws to the chassis, or cabinet. if your wires aren't coded as you say, it is red, white and black, left to right. see picture I've supplied.
hope that helps
