Question about Texas Instruments TI-83 Plus Calculator
When I was trying to get residuals more appeared than what was in list 1 and list 2. I reset the memory to the factory settings and it isn't doing that anymore, but when I press 2nd, stat, resid is not there anymore. How do I get resid to be on the menu again?
To turn on the residuals, you must turn diagnostics on.
Press 2nd then zero. You are now in an alphabetical catalog list. Go to the d's in the list highlight "diagnostic on" and press enter. This will take you back to the home screen. You must press enter and get the word "done" on the home screen.
If you are trying to get the residuals in a list, you must calculate a regression first. Then when you press 2nd stat, resid should be in that menu.
