Do a Quick restore or a File Level restore from the main menu tabs.
Quick restore will restore all files, file level restore will allow you to choose what files to restore.

Restore factory settings programs step

On newer (Vista and up) to restore to factory press F11 at HP splash screen this will put you factory restore mode ( not earlier restore point) then follow the on screen instructions including backup option of files if you haven't done this if no backup is needed choose to continue without backup and this will bring your HP laptop back to factory, out of the box, condition. You will have to reinstall programs of choice and update adobe free products like Adobe Flash and Reader and all of the windows OS updates good luck

How do i restore my apple mac back to an earlier date if i havent set up time machine

You can restore your computer to the factory state, without any of your data, but this will require (at a minimum) the install disk(s) that came with your system, (prior to OSX 10.7) Systems built for 10.7 and later may not have shipped with disks, but Apple will happily provide you those disks at little to no cost.

How do I do a restoration? I want it to be back to the way it was when first bought

If it is to restore to the point at which your set was loaded and as a restore point date ,then it is possible to set the system to the centre point.Open control panel click icon backup/restore.Open restore settings, choose the restore point date corresponding to the first loading. Now the set will go back to the restore point by shutting down and choosing from memory. If there is no restore point it cannot be done.

Wii not starting up!

  1. Buy or rent a new Wii game that is made by Nintendo and intended for use in your region
  2. Step 2 Turn on the Wii, insert the game and let it load.
  3. Step 3 Wait as the firmware checker in the video game checks that the Wii's firmware needs to be updated. If this does not happen, it means no firmware checker is on the disc and another game will have to be obtained to try it again.
  4. Step 4 Follow the directions presented onscreen when the firmware checker has finished checking. The firmware will now be updated.
  5. Step 5 Eject the video game disc when the update is done and restart the Wii.
  6. Pray

It depends on the make, it can be done on Toshiba through the Backup and Restore centre, on others you have to select a function key at start up.
