Question about Mitsubishi VS-50707 50" Rear Projection Television
I have a old big screen back projection tv. It used to work great but
now the picture is jittery until it has been on for 1/2 hour to a hour
then the picture comes in fine. Sometimes the tv works fine when it is turned on and a while later the picture becomes jittery.
When the tv is warming up a line that is broken up showing three different colors as it goes across the screen occurs. Then as a picture starts to come into focus the picture starts to move up and down (jittery). The line only happens at the top of the screen. The screen is not scrolling.
I understand electronics but I do not service tvs. I have the manual that came with the tv but it is not a repair manual. I have no schematic for this tv.
Sounds like the verticle circuit is failing a honest shop will take of this for you around 180-230 if you want to do yourself youll need a iron and some filters and an verticle ic
