Question about Honda Karcher G4000RH Pressure Washer
When you pull the triger it takes about 100 seconds for the pressure to kick in. Water does come out the wond but no pressure for a minute. Just started doing this seems like it is takeing longer and longer for the pressure to kick on. It is cold here maybe something froze and did something. Probem presists through out the day. we are running it about 6 hours per day 5 days per week. Thank you. firstname.lastname@example.org
Unloader valve is the most likely suspect here.
Remove and clean with penetrating oil then reinstall.
Also add some LIGHT oil into your supply hose via a small funnel. 3-in-1 household oil or power steering fluid lubricate the valve and pump quite well. Three or four treatments of a couple ounces each will usually make the pump happy again. If this unit has an OIL-FILLED pump on it you can expect good results. If it runs an OIL-LESS pump it is only rated for about 100 total hours of life!
Hope this helps.
