Question about Brother Sewing Machines

1 Answer

I have a DB2-B797 and have lost the threading instructions. This is an older industrial model. Nesting is on the bottom of the material when sewing. Do you have instructions for proper threading of this machine

Here are some pictures. Hope they help. If not I can attempt to describe how to thread. Good Luck. Well, I can not get my photo size below 150 kb as required to post. So, if you want to email me I will send it via email. donnabullard@me.com

All seems fine & threded correctly but will not stitch [knot]

from your description I guess that the knot is under the material
If so then the top thread is too loose
tighten it up a fair bit and use scrap material until you get it right

Riccor model 939FA thread keeps breaking, not shure if it is threaded correctly, manual lost years ago, thread has been nesting on bottom of material, now just breaking.

Try looking for a manual for your machine here.
http://www.riccar.com/help/manuals/
If your model number isn't listed try looking for a similar model or the number nearest to your machine.
Usually, sewing machines of the same brand thread in the same way. Hope this helps!
