Hi,

One of the latest versions has a 15Amp fuse at 115V.
If your CS-800 is connected to 220V, you have to use 7,5Amp (8Amp is OK).

regards,
Gerard

Does the Jensen UV 10 stereo have internal fuses that can be replaced

In the back of the set you should find a small 'spade' type fuse, replace with Fuse: 15-amp, mini ATM type

There is a fuse holder in on the yellow wire on the wiring harness, pull out the unit and replace fuse.

User manual: http://www.jensenmobile.com/docs/common/UV10/UV10_OM.pdf

Wiring diagram http://www.manualslib.com/manual/674477/Jensen-Uv10.html?page=4#manual

Good luck.

To Mr. Hyde: you appear experienced with Bose 501 Series III speakers. I need to replace a burned out glass bulb fuse inside the right speaker, the fuse for the woofer I believe. I think that you said that...

Hello whit_hughes,

Just received your request for some information regarding Bose 501's......... Series III. Your looking for te manufacturers part # for the fuse which is in line with the woofer? The fuses used ON the Series III Crossovers (hard wired/soldered directly to crossover board/componants) have been Identified as BUSS #2494, 2amp, Quick-Blow Glass Tube Type Fuses. The fuse which is in-series with the woofer & the fuse which is in-series with the pair of tweeters are the same! In theory this means that the woofer is capable of twice the wattage of the tweeters due to the tweeters being wired in series with each other..... which in turn divides the power beween the two equaly. On the woofer circuit there is only the one speaker or voice coil obsorbing the power. The woofer circuit being wired in parallel with the tweeter circuit again splits the power between the two cuircuits..... so in an ideal situation the woofer sees 50% total input power while the tweeters each see 25% total input power;;;; totaling 100% total. The way Bose has fused them in the Series III's is such that each branch can obsorb a total of 2 amps before shutting down each indivigual branch. This can be adventageous..... should peak power be exceeded causing loss of full load abruptly, Amplifier Power Output Transistors usually blow..... however when only half of the full cuircuit shuts down due to peak power exeeding limits causing one fuse to open (blow) ... the actual impedance (resistance) of the speaker increases protecting the Amplifiers Output Transistors! Thats the reason for the 2 fuses. Each of them are identical. They are soldered into place.... via the wire which is attached to each end of the fuse. (Note; the fuse "kit" Bose is trying to sell you is an external in line fuse holder for each speaker {costing 1.29 each} & 2 fuses for each holder, One for now & One for Later aftr it blows {costing 1.00 each}..... costing Bose 6.58, neting Bose $13.42 Profit!!!! Keep in mind that this fuse WILL NOT FIX YOUR PROBLEM EITHER! DUE TO THE FUSE WHICH IS PRESENTLY BLOWN HAS NOT BEEN REPLACED!!!!! ) The one that has to be replaced is on the crossover... not between the Amplifier & the Speaker Enclosure. Tools required = 1 Long Big Straight Blade Screwdriver to pry off speaker grill, 1 Phyllips Screwdriver to remove screws seccuring woofer to encloser... be carefull not to damage/tear gasket, 1 pair side cutters to cut blown fuse out of crossover curcuit, 1 pair needle nose pliers to attach NEW fuse to crossover curcuit, 1 soldering Iron & a small piece of solder to re-solder fuses leads securly to crossover curcuit. ( replace gasket, woofer, screws, & speaker grill. ENJOY! Should additionaL informaton be required please let me know.... you'll have to leave me your e-mail address for pictures or drawings.... as I don't think they can be sent through this site. Hope this helps ya..... Its an EASY JOB...... you CAN DO IT! & will be glad you did when your done, they'll sound GREAT! ) GOOD LUCK!

Kid put mom's curling iron in microwave. Turned it on and now nothing. No lights, nothing. Is there a fuse to check? Maybe it is too far gone? Thanks

there is very high voltage present even when disconnected from mains. unplug from mains & leave for 1 hour. remove cabinet. there is a fuse which controls everything usually located near the transformer or where the mains cable enters. check fuse and replace. it needs to be the correct fuse for the appliance
There should also be a "mini-manual" (tech sheet) hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting, testing, and locating components.

Once you remove the control panel assembly, the fuse is located in a holder behind that area toward the top. The tech sheet shows part locations

Ciggarette lighter doesnt work and cant find fuse if thats the problem

Remove the coin/change holder from the dash you will find the fuse box there. On the back of the coin holder you will find a fuse diagram showing location and amp # for each fuse. when replacing the fuse be sure to replace it with the same amp#. Should be a 15 amp fuse. First check/replace the fuse. If that doesn't work I would consider replacing the entire cigarette lighter it runs about 12$.
Thanks,
Lee

How do I find and replace the 7.5 Amp battery charger fuse?

The 7.5 Amp ATO fuse is located in line with a rubber cap on it under the rear electronics cover. It is a well kept secret, well hidden, and you have to know its there. The rear electronics cover has an AC receptacle, meter, circuit breaker reset button, and main hand control connector on it. Remove the cover and look for the in-line fuse. It is a black rubber fuse holder with a rubber cover. It is connected with one wire to the harness connected to the charger and the other wire from it goes to the charging meter (red and green with moving pointer). It is probably easiest to find the fuse holder by starting at the meter and tracing the wire back to the fuse holder. Pull off the rubber cap and insert a new automotive style 7.5 amp fuse. You can tell if the old fuse is burnt out by holding it up to the light. If the wire inside is burnt open, the fuse is bad. Be careful when putting everything back together that you don't pinch or disconnect any wiring. Hope this helps.

What fuse and fuse breaker should i run with this amp? thanks

100 amp should do it. Put the fuse or breaker as close to the battery as possible. Beware of cheap round glass type fuse holders. If going with a fuse i recomment the ANL type. The ANL fuses are actually screwed to the fuse block and give a much tighter, more reliable connection.

Just stopped working. No LED. Changes the Lamp no fix! ANy clues

The first generation of the IN72 / IN74 / IN76 projectors had a power supply problem where a fuse on the P/S was under-rated. The 1amp fuse was subsequently replaced with a 2.5amp fuse to correct the problem. The reworked units have heat-shrink tubing over the fuses whereas the older 1amp fuses are bare. The fuse is located under the heatsink, about center of the board.

Is there a circuit breaker

There should be a fuse holder near the place in the back of the amp where the power cord plugs in. Also some Marshalls have fuses in fuse holders on the circuit board. Always replace with the same value and type as the original fuse. Never open up the amp when it is plugged in to the outlet. When replacing the internal fuses do not touch the capacitors as they retain a lethal charge. If the fuse continually blows it is an indication of a more serious problem which will require servicing by a qualified repair person.

CS-800 buzz in channel a

First a couple of questions:

1) Is the level of buzz controlled by the volume control? Based upon your initial post I would think yes.

2)When you say you want to use the other amp as a regular amp, do you mean to drive a single speaker or more?
