Superautomatic esspresso machine problem

My new espresso machine is not working properly. Water does not come out of the brew head. Just a trickle of coffee. I cleaned the machine, changed the grind like the manual says. No luck. Now the digital display reads,"Ventilate". Any solutions? Thank You, Jennifer

You will probably find that the small holes in the filter are blocked with grounds of a perfect plug like size.

I carefully removed the filter plates and cleaned them thoroughly on mine and all was well.

What can I do to have the Ready to Brew light come on? I tried to slowly pour in water and fill water tank but doesnt work.

Be sure spray disk and brew gasket are properly installed in the
brew head.

Be sure the water supply is properly connected and the water
supply valve is turned
ON

Be sure the WATER TANK IS FILLED
BEFORE plugging the brewer into a receptacle, or otherwise
connecting brewer to electrical power
THE WATER TANK MUST BE FILLED

Place an empty decanter under the brew head. Lift
the pour-over cover then pour warm tap water into the pour-over
opening until water flows from the brew head. When water stops
dripping from the brew head, empty the container.

Once the tank is full of water,
connect the brewer to electrical
power. The heating elements will begin heating the water in the
tank.
When the water has reached the proper temperature, the
"READY To BREW" light will glow. http://www.cdccoffee.com/pdf/bloomfield-8571-8572-user-manual.pdf

Tip

Superautomatic does not make espresso. Dumps dry grounds

Dosage lever or knob is to the max positive and the brew unit can not compress the coffee, so the machine dumps it into the dredge drawer to prevent breaking the machine. Reduce the amount by 1 click towards the minus side, and that should take care of the problem.
PS. It will usually work if the brew unit is clean, but when it is used once it will go back to dumping.

My saeco xsmall has red light continuously on after rinsing

You have to turn the button to the side where is the icon of the cup.
Then you have to wait until the machine stops running water by itself.

HI
It sounds like you didn't get all the parts back in the head. The silicone head with the spring goes in first, then the screw. The spring has to touch the screw. Then the filter screws into the screw plug.

Hi
When you push the water button, how is the flow? If it is OK its not your boiler. What happens when you press the pre-ground button but don't put any coffee in. If it brews correctly( not slow) your grind is too fine. Just push the lever below the bean hopper back 2 clicks. If you are still brewing slow you may have a plug of coffee in your brew head. A pinch of automatic dish washing detergent in the brew unit funnel, then push the pre-ground button again. This can break up the clog and allow a normal brew.
You don't want to use vinegar in your machine. It leaves a taste for a while. Citric acid is what you want.
