SOURCE: look s like shutter is not closing

Yes, it requires removal and strip down to clean the shutter.
Test out the video. That should be ok as it does not use the shutter

SOURCE: samsung s860 camera lens will not close and is out of focus.

I hate to say it but your camera needs to be serviced. Might not be worth the repair. Try to take it to a local repair center that would offer you a free estimate....

My samsung s760 has ahorizontal lines when you shout in a day time but if you shout it it evening the picture is ok.eventhough i put off the flash in day time it is the same result.what can i do?please...

Mary,First check to ensure that your camera is in automatic mode, and not in one of its manual modes. For example, shooting in a night scene mode in daylight could cause these symptoms. But if you are in auto, a stuck shutter is another common failure mode for digital cameras. The symptoms of a stuck or "sticky" shutter are very similar to CCD image sensor failure. The camera may take black pictures (for shutter stuck closed), or the pictures may be very bright and overexposed, sometimes with lines, especially when taken outdoors (for shutter stuck open).
To confirm a stuck shutter, put the camera in any mode other than "Auto", and turn the flash OFF (you don't want to blind yourself for the next step). Next look down the lens and take a picture. You should see a tiny flicker in the center of the lens as the shutter opens and closes. If no movement is seen, then you likely have a stuck shutter. If so, please see this link for further info and a simple fix that may help.

My samsung BL103 camera takes good pics inside but ot outside. how do i fix

First make sure that you are in "Automatic" mode, and not in one of the camera's othe manual modes which may keep the shutter open for an extended period. But if you are indeed in auto mode, and it's still doing this, a stuck shutter is another common failure mode for digital cameras. The symptoms of a stuck or "sticky" shutter are very similar to CCD image sensor failure. The camera may take black pictures (for shutter stuck closed), or the pictures may be very bright and overexposed, sometimes with lines, especially when taken outdoors (for shutter stuck open). This sounds like a problem with the shutter mechanism. Contact a Samsung authorized service center for repairs.

It is just a black screen before and after i take a picture

Have you tried downloading your photos to a computer, and are they also black? If so, a stuck shutter is another common failure mode for digital cameras. My son pulled out one of the shutters that opens and closes over the lens. The shutters no longer open all the way. The camera is brand new. How can I fix the rest of the shutters? Should I pull them...

You can pull off the other one if you want. To put it back in your basically going to have to take apart the camera. The "Shutters" on the outside is nothing more but to protect the lens will its in the camera. The actual shutter is inside the lens that open and closes very quickly when you take a picture.

Think of it this way, the shutter in the lens opens up to let in light that shows the image to the sensor behind the lens. Then it closes to "finish" capturing the light".

The "shutters" or "doors" on the outside do not move once you take a picture. They only close once the lens retract. (When the camera is turned off or idles)

Hope this has been helpful.
