Question about Vivitar ViviCam 5100 Digital Camera

When I place aSDHC card in the camera it freezes up and won't move off the welcome screen. It works fine without the card. I've tried several different cards but the same thing happens.

Check you owner's manual. Can your camera accept SDHC cards or just SD?

I only have43 pic. on my memory card and it say it is full it is a 64 mb card the next card I put in is asdhc card 8 gb and itsaids it requires formatting what is that ? what do I do

64mb is a very small memory card..... my Canon might fit just 1 picture on there, with the 8gb, just follow the camera instruction to format it..... the camera wants to prepare the card for use.

My camera used to work just fine with my pc, now my pc won't find the camera when connected with the cord. I also can't delete pictures because the camera freezes up. I also get 'picture e

You should format the memory card, while in the camera. Find the built in utility. If the format fails (try a couple times first) then get a new memory card. Possibly this will help the conectivity issue too, if not try looking in the Disk Management section (Right click My Computer, Choose Manage) See if the camera, connected to pc, is showing there without a drive letter. Right click on it and assignn it a drive letter. Hope this helps.

SD card won't stay in the slot of my Panasonic Lumix DMC-SL80

is the lock on the card by chance. also depending on how old the camera is and how big the sd card is in gb. the lumix may not be able to handle that size of card, too many gb. My lumix would only accept up to 4 gb, so when I moved to 16 they did not work.

I've tried several SD cards in my ViviCam T027 but the camera won't read any of them. Is there a simple solution? It hasn't worked since I got the camera. Thx!

This camera only supports, SD not SDHC, so make sure that the card is 2GB or under and the camera should recognize it.
