How do i know which driver to use?

At my work, i am attempting to reinstall a HP laserjet 1320 printer that we no longer have any software or books for. i went to the hp site, downloaded a couple different drivers and also the plug and play print driver solution, i follow all the steps, and then it is still saying "installation operation failed". does anyone know how i can figure out exactly which particular model of the 1320 this is without having the books so i can figure out which drivers it needs?
