Question about Seth Thomas SET731 Electric Wall Clock Red LED Display 12""Diameter Black
I have a Seth Thomas wall clock WBR 709 that I bought brand new about 3 years ago, but there is no usable knob to adjust the time.
Is there something I can buy to do that?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

I wish I had a solution... I'm in the exact same situation. I put in new batteries, and all I get is a faint reading of gibberish from the LCD screen, and that's it. I've tried following the instructions, but I can't set the time in the LCD clock, since it's unreadable, and almost completely gone. Seththomas.com has a web page indicating that "they will be back with info", but no support or FAQ pages. Disappointing... I have three of these clocks, and they are all behaving the same way.

I've Seth Thomas Grandfather 46978 clocks' user manual with me. But I don't know how to send it to you. It is in PDF format. The newly hoilsted Fixya site has no facilty to send the manuals to users I thinks. I can't see it nowhere in this iste. OK.

Place your Seth Thomas atomic clock face-down on a table or desk and locate a series of buttons labeled "PST," "MST," "CST" and "EST" on the back of the clock. Press the appropriate button to set the time zone.
Turn your attention to the small lithium battery-powered digital clock display on the back of your clock. With the correct time zone set, the digital display should accurately reflect the current local time.
Locate the AA battery compartment on the back of your clock. Put two new AA batteries into your clock's battery compartment.
Set the "Mode" switch on the back of your Seth Thomas atomic clock to "Run." Wait for it to adjust to the correct time. The automatic time-adjustment process can take up to 45 minutes, but is usually completed much sooner.
